Overview:
Dogger Bank is the world’s largest offshore wind farm and is located more than 130km off the North East coast of England. The Wind Farm will be capable of powering up to 6 million homes annually. Each turbine can provide enough clean energy to power 16,000 British households and save the equivalent of 9,000 vehicles’ emissions in a year.
Via our merchant partners, we supplied hundreds of D400 chamber sections as well as ductile iron and fabricated steel access covers & frames to the onshore substation build of this project in Beverley, North Yorkshire.
