The Advanced journey began in 2007 with just one innovative product that the UK market had never seen before. Keen to challenge market traditions by supplying a high strength composite manhole ladder system as an alternative to fabricated steel products that had been used for generations, the hard work had just begun.
As interest and sales grew, we quickly identified other infrastructure products that could be added to the Advanced portfolio and offer contractors and end-users not only time and cost saving advantages but also reducing carbon footprints by installing products that are fully recyclable and at the end of service life.
Introducing structural access chamber systems saw demand continue to increase from our distribution partners and stockists. They had quickly realised that our impressive delivery lead times and competitive pricing offered the ability to service projects to a much more efficient standard.
At a time where many businesses were closely monitoring expenditure, we saw this as an opportunity to invest in further tooling and products to really provide a basket of products to the utility and civil infrastructure markets. The development of the EasyPIT® family of duct chambers as well as the ecoNOMY® valve & hydrant chamber system has firmly established Advanced as one of the leading suppliers in the access chamber marketplace.
Now with a product range that includes access chambers, access covers, manhole ladders, gully slabs and marker posts, with over 1000 variations of sizes, depths and lengths, product that is stocked in over 200 locations throughout the UK and with customers that span the globe, most companies would be stretched to keep up with demand.
However, we continue to identify new products, invest in additional tooling and discuss new markets with customers.
