Anti-Slip composite cover systems complete with galvanised steel rising frames from single units to multi-part configurations. Many manhole applications now require covers to be non-conductive for use on telecommunication, electrical and power networks. Covers are badged “Advanced” and are marked Traffic Signal/Street Lighting, although bespoke badging is also available.
Suitable for applications and environments such as Traffic Signals, Street Lighting and Utilities, composite access covers are used where a high slip resistance and lightweight option is required without compromising on loading capabilities.
EasyGRIP® covers are available in a range of industry standard sizes that can also be combined to form larger multi-part covers with the use of central removable beams and cross beams.
EasyGRIP® covers are supplied with galvanised steel rising frames, which are locked as standard with threaded screws.
We can also offer customer specific badging options, subject to minimum production runs.
SMC (sheet moulding compound) is a glass-reinforced polyester resin that has many advantages over traditional ductile iron or galvanised steel access covers & frames.
Composite covers offer a long service life once installed offering far lower whole of life costs for the asset owner. Furthermore, with no inherent scrap value, covers will not be stolen by thieves.
EasyGRIP® composite covers have been independently tested to BSEN124 B125 loadings as well as pendulum testing for skid resistance. Certificates and reports available on request.
Our experienced sales team are available to discuss any project in further detail offering technical advice and cost saving solutions.
