The EasyPIT® CONNECT chamber system is a range of high performance twin-wall chambers designed for use in footway applications or areas of light vehicle, low traffic density. These can be supplied with our EasyGRIP® composite cover system that offers SmartGrip Technology™, to ensure pedestrian safety in all weather conditions.
Each EasyPIT® CONNECT ring section consists of corner components and straight wall “bricks”. Using configurations of these pieces allows the CONNECT to be assembled into a vast range of industry standard and bespoke sizes.
As the CONNECT is modular by design, this offers fantastic flexibility when it comes to clear opening options and logistics. Designed as both an access section and riser section in one, there is no requirement to specific sections with duct entries. 110mm entries are simply knocked out on-site when needed.
CONNECT chambers offer significantly reduced install times, requiring less labour on-site and ultimately allowing sites and roads to be re-opened quicker.
As the CONNECT is modular by design, this offers fantastic flexibility when it comes to clear opening options and logistics. Component or “kit-form” chambers can be transported far more economically than ready assembled chambers. All sections are below the recognised one-person lift limits.
EasyPIT® CONNECT chambers are manufactured from highly durable, recycled Polypropylene materials. Polypropylene has a high tensile strength, which means it is an ideal material for products exposed to heavy loads.
EasyPIT® CONNECT chambers have been independently tested in accordance with BSEN124 B125 & C250 loadings and are suitable for areas imposing wheel loads of 25 tonne such as lightly trafficked roads, private car parks or footways and verges.
Each 150mm deep section is designed to simply stack and locate on top of each other to form the required depth of chamber. The castellated design offers a secure fit between sections and prevents lateral movement once sections have been placed.
EasyPIT® CONNECT can be configured to offer all industry standard sizes from 300x300mm up to 1200x1200mm. Due to the modular design with corner and brick components, ULTRA provides the installer with a truly versatile chamber product suitable for many applications.
The EasyPIT® Connect chamber system has a range of industry standard clear openings. These provide finished access chambers from 300x300mm to 1200x1200mm.
We also offer a vast range of bespoke size options up to 3500x3500mm and beyond with our EasyPIT® Ultra.
EasyPIT® chambers can be assembled by utilising the interlocking chamber ring sections that are simply stacked on top of each other. This process is continued until the specified depth required on-site has been reached.
Chambers have been designed with a castellated top so that they positively engage with the section below. All standard sizes are below 25 kg and as such are suitable for single person lift within manual handling regulations.
